Remembering Joe Field
Sad news from the GTM family: Joe Field, our Director of North American Operations, passed away unexpectedly this week. We all send our heartfelt condolences to his family.
Joe worked with us for more than a decade and had become an integral part of our company. He was a respected leader at GTM, and we could always count on him to offer innovative ideas and find ways to continuously improve our customer service. He was hard-working, fun to be around and always true to his word. He was an excellent colleague and friend and was well-liked by his coworkers and customers.
At GTM, Joe managed all operations within North America, including our truckload brokerage, LTL and fleet product lines. Before coming to GTM, Joe served as Regional Manager of Operations for Whiteline Express, Ltd. and also developed the Penske Premier Fleet and Premium Transportation Management for Penske Logistics. He was a graduate of Pennsylvania State University.
We are grateful to have known and worked with Joe and our prayers are with his family and friends.
